Bạn chọn thư mục mà user vừa tạo bên trên sẽ làm việc ở đấy. Có thể chọn các quyền cho user đó như: Read, Write, Delete, Append… Mặc định là Read(chỉ đọc). Hình 2.2.5. Cửa sổ Shared folder Cấu hình lại cho Firewall. Đối với Windows 7, Vista. Windows XP có thể bỏ qua bước này. Đầu tiên, vào trong Control Panel -> System and Securiy -> Window Firewall -> Allow a program or feature thought Windows Firewall. Màn hình xuất hiện như sau. Hình 2.2.6. Truy nhập vào máy tính FTP server vừa tạo ra Trong mạng LAN Trong mạng LAN để truy cập vào máy tính FTP Server bạn bật trình duyệt và gõ ftp://Ip-Address-LAN , đây là địa chỉ IP của máy tính trong mạng LAN, thường là 192.168.1.x. Khi đăng nhập bạn điền User + Pass đã tạo phía bên trên. Trình duyệt đăng nhập thành công với User ftp_admin, pass: admin1. Hình 2.3.1. Thư mục được chia sẻ khi đăng nhập FTP server Trên Internet Bạn vào địa chỉ sau để lấy địa chỉ IP của bạn mà nhà mạng cung cấp cho www.ipaddress.com Sau khi có địa chỉ IP bạn nhập vào thanh địa chỉ của trình duyệt web như sau: ftp://ipaddress.com. Chú ý là máy tính trong mạng LAN của mình sẽ không vào được địa chỉ WAN, mà chỉ có máy tính trên Internet mới truy cập vào được. Nhập User + Pass và đăng nhập vào thư mục chia sẻ. Chương 3. Bộ lệnh FTP 3.1. Một số tùy chọn FTP Khi bắt đầu chương trình từ Commad Prompt ta có thêm các tùy chọn như sau: ftp [-v] [-d] [-i] [-n] [-g] [-s:filename] [-a] [-w:windowsize] [computer].
