Creating a favorable condition and occasion for students to improve their professional skills of English in translating professional documents relating to business, administration and management which are available in the daily works of business. Providing a good time for last- term students have many opportunites to learn ways of working in practical environment and help students easy to use English as an official language. Assisting students in solving real problems effectivelly of companies from partners or instructors, etc… Helping students familiarize with works and working styles in practice in order not to be amazing and embarrassing with which they will encounter in their up-coming career. The practing period of time This period lasted for 5 weeks from 22 Frebuary to 31 March. Tel : 84-4-73001299 Fax : 84-4-73007871 Website : www.kovina.vn Year of establishment : 4/2008. *Import and Export Kovina Company is a business enterprise in the following fields : Importing and exporting Wallpaper from Korea Selling smart toys Selling shoulder furniture, sticker Korea Importing PVC flooring…. 2.Kovina’s structure of organization Department of Planning and M aterials Department of Business and Transportation Council Member Deputy Director of Customer Care Department of Finance and Accountant General Director Deputy Director of Business Workshop Department of Customer Care From the figure , We can see that Kovina’s company has structurre of a pyramid with a chairmain of the Board of Management and others at funtional positions. The following tables show their detailed authorities and mission : 2.1 Kovina’s leaders: 1. General Director: is the most important in the company, who is legal representative of the company, responsible to council member and decide the development of company, business activities of the company. He/she can deal with producting, investing, new facilities.... 2.Deputy Director of Business: Assist excutive directors in business activities of the company, price for building products and report on business…. Make specific plans to the Director during process business. 3.Deputy Director of Customer Care Help Director manage and heathcare customer , needs and wants of customers. Expand customers…. 2.2 System funtional department 1.Department of Business and transportation Comprehension management of business tasks, the company ‘s transportation and customer development. Perform transactions on negotiations, sales, deliver on products, shipments, revenues,expenses and Director of business approval. Caculation of product management of the company, transportation by air, sea, deliver to retail and wholesale dealers to meet production needs. 2.Department of Planning and Materials Monitoring the situation of materials, managing raw material strictly and economical norm. Responsible for the procurement and allocations of materials used within the company to cater for all requirements planning. Building materials and plans every month,quarter, year, business contracts for procurement of materials prevention, care materials to ensure continuous,balanced and materials for the production process. 3.Department of Finance and Accountant Economic all financial accounting and corporate financial management work, accounting, finance, management, capital and consumption monitoring work, wage payment, social insurance payments, financial expenses. Urging check the performance of economic contracts and timely settlement and liquidation of contracts. Organizing the accounting of financial reporting throughout the company, reporting month, quarterly and year of the company and approved by the Director. 4.Department of Customer Care Customer Care of the company. Its responsibilities and works are care to customers,how product to the customer, needs and want to customers for products. Having preferential policies for customers, discount and promotion to customers and solving all problems when the customers asking. 5.Kovina’s structure of products Majors products of Kovina are import and export wallpaper, PVC flooring and Donerland clay from Korea. Nowadays, in interior, wallpaper are used to increate effciency decorations, it create a new space and suitable for each position and sit home.its also shape and pattern are very abundant and diverse. Thus, company business wallpaper to meet user’s needs with new style and convinience for users. The company is developing many products such as clay which is safe for children and smart toys….. It usually participate in fairs and exhibition of interior , decorations….. IV.Practice Activities In this period of time, I acted as a secretary to help my senior organize her documents and works. Though there were not much works for me to do, my major works are to set time for her meetings, and take responsibility for doing office works. V.Advantages and Disadvantages I practiced in Import and Export Kovina Company over the past one month. Though it is not a long time for me to be familiar with the atmosphere of business, it is very useful for me to make preparation for my up-coming career and graduation assignment. When I worked there, I met with many advantageous and disadvantageous things. I think that the most advantageous thing is the company create condition for me talk to foreign clients as an employee of the company.So, I improve my skill on using English. Furthermore, I can use my specialty knowledge that I learnt at university to satisfy requirements of clients. But besides advantages, I also faced with many disadvantageous things. I limited by my English skills and I have to face it.That is the reason why I’m not confident when I talk to foreign clients. I think that because I did not practice those skills carefully when I still go to the university. Consequently, my ability of conversation in English is very poor. I think that I should sharpen my skills on using English in the near future to be able to apply for a job that suitable for my specification and profession. VI.Achivements and Shortcomings While I was working there, I had learnt some experience to prepare for both my up-coming graduation assignment and my near future. When interacting with people, I respect everyone and everyone respected me. I can learn how to work and helping all everyone in company. This time is also help me how to people behave and better understanding of the business, helped me develop English skills and skills on using language, mainly focusing on four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). My professional skills of English are improving everyday, I can translate the documents more fluently such as business, management and administration documents, which are avaiale in the daily works of businesses, are impoved day by day. Furthermore, this time proved with a good period of time for last-term students, I can learn ways of working in the actual business environment in order to use English as an official language. Otherwise, this time gave me the experience to solve real-life situations of company or people from partners or instructors,etc.. and help me familiarize with works and working styles in order not to be amazing or embarrassing with the problems when I start a new job.
