Task 1: Filling missing information
+ Introduces to Sts: “You are going to listen to the passage about Cuc Phuong National Park in Vietnam and fill in the missing information”
+ Asks Sts to read all sentences in task 1 and try to work out what they are going to hear

+ Play the tape twice so that Sts listen the passage clearly

I. Aims:
- To help students (Sts) to get more information about Cuc Phuong National Park.
II. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
Listen to get specific information about Cuc Phuong National Park
Do the exercises of filling in the gaps and answering the questions
Talk about the features of Cuc Phuong National Park
III. Teaching aids:
Chalks, a black board, pictures, cassette player and tape, lesson plan

V. Procedure
1. Class Organization (1min)
Checking the attendance

Call a student to tell about her/his last trip

Warm - up (5 mins)
+ Shows a video about Cuc Phuong National Park
+ Asks Sts to look at the video and answer some questions:
1. Do you know where it is?
2. Have you ever visited it?
3. What do you know about it?
- Introduce new lesson: Today, we are going to listen to the tape to get some information about Cuc Phuong National Park.
+ Watch the video. Listen to the questions, think and answer individually.
+ Listen and open the textbook.
Pre-listening (10 mins)
Activity 1: Answering the questions
+ Asks Sts to work in pairs and answer the questions:
1, Where is Cuc Phuong National Park?
2, What is the area of the rainforest in Cuc Phuong National Park?
3, When is the best time to visit Cuc Phuong National Park?
4, What can be seen in Cuc Phuong National Park?
+ Calls some pairs to answer loudly in front of class
+ Listens and checks their answers

+ Introduces some new words by using pictures or explanations
