UNIT FIVE: TECHNOLOGY AND YOU Period 25 READING Aims: Reading about computer. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils are able understand and talk about the benefits of computers in our modern life. Skills: Development for Reading skill and three integrated skills : Listening, Speaking and Writing. Lexical items: Prepare, produce, miraculous, calculating machine, calculations, lightning speed, storage device, data, memos. Teaching aids: Handouts, cassette, textbook, flipcharts. Task 3: (Of Task 2 in the textbook page 55) T asks Ss to read the passage more carefully and choose the best title for it. T lets Ss discuss their answer with a friend.
