New lesson: Teacher and Ss’activities Contents 1.Activity 1: The simple present. - T asks Ss to repeat some verbs of talk about means of travelling. Ss: “go, travel,walk and question word How”. _ Notice the use of the tense: to express an everyday action. +Use? + adverbs? Ask Ss to do Ex1/p92. Ss work pairs to do. Give feedback-> check. 2. Activity 2: The Present progressive tense. - Review of formation: I am/ You, We, They are…., He/ She/ It is………+ Ving. . The Use : To express an action happening at the same time or around the time or around the time as we are talking. 3. Preposition. - Have Ss look at the picture and ask the question like this: “ What do you see in the picture?/ What is the girl doing?/ and the boy? - Ask Ss to read the list of words and give the meanings. 4.
