To overcome these limitations and shortcomings, it is necessary to have effective solutions in state management of domestic violence prevention and control. Stemming from these above objective requirements and so far there have not been many scientific researches fully mentioning the role of state management in planning mechanisms and policies to implement domestic violence prevention and control in Vietnam. In order for domestic violence prevention work to meet the requirements of international integration, the impact of the fourth industrial revolution and the trend of widening the gap between rich and poor, objective reality is urgently needed to raise the effectiveness of the state management of domestic violence prevention and control and the attention of the international community to the protection of human rights and gender equality. Important awareness, effective and appropriate actions for domestic violence prevention to be effective and critical to the successful implementation of the nation’s sustainable development goals and millennium development goals of the United Nations.. 1- The thesis has achieved the set objectives: a) An overview of the research situation in chapter 1 has identified the research framework of the state management topic on domestic violence prevention and control in Vietnam, which basically summarizes the research results of Vietnam and some typical results of the world on domestic violence prevention work to provide theoretical and practical basis for the research of the thesis. b) Systematize the theoretical basis of state management on domestic violence prevention and control on the following contents: (i) 2 due to the decisive role of the family for socio-economic development and from the inherent social function of the State, the Ph.D candidate has chosen "State management of prevention and control of domestic violence in Vietnam” as a Thesis of Public Management. The dissertation is topical and urgent in theory and practice in the context of international integration to realize the goal of sustainable national development, building a happy family and prosperous society with the view of "taking prevention as major in the fight to prevent and reverse domestic violence”, contributing to improving the work of state management of domestic violence in Vietnam today. 2. Research aims and tasks 2.1. Research aims: The research aim of the thesis is to propose solutions to improve state management of domestic violence in Vietnam based on the study of theoretical and practical issues of state management of domestic violence in Vietnam. 2.2. Research tasks: Firstly, conducting research on domestic and foreign research works that are directly related to the topic of the thesis, pointing out the issues that have been solved by the thesis that can inherit and identify the Thesis problems need to be solved. The thesis research results can be applied in developing legislative measures related to domestic violence in Vietnam, applied in the organization and operation of state management agencies in domestic violence from central to local levels. The thesis is also a useful reference for managers, policymakers about domestic violence prevention and can be used for research and teaching in domestic training institutions. 8.
