Learn new words related to music. Practice listening to missing words and specific information. Time: 45 minutes Techniques: pair work, group work. Teaching aids: textbook, board, chalk, power point. Procedures: Stages Teacher’s activities Student’s activities Warm-up ( 5’) Pre-listening ( 5’) - Ask students to listen to the famous song “See you again”. (2 times) - Lyrics: “It's been a long day without you my friend And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again We've come a long way from where we began Oh I'll tell you all about it when I see you again When I see you again Who knew all the planes we flew Good things we've been through That I'll be standing right here Talking to you about another path I Know we loved to hit the road and laugh But something told me that it wouldn't last Had to switch up look at things different see the bigger picture Those were the days hard work forever pays now I see you in a better place How could we not talk about family when family's all that we got? Give students 2 minutes to read the sentence and underline the key words Ask students to listen to the conversation (2 times). Ask students to work in pairs to choose the answers, and then discuss with their partner to choose the correct answers. Call some students to give the answers. Play the tape again and give the answers. Give feedbacks.
