UNIT FIVE: TECHNOLOGY AND YOU Period 25 READING Aims: Reading about computer. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils are able understand and talk about the benefits of computers in our modern life. Skills: Development for Reading skill and three integrated skills : Listening, Speaking and Writing. Lexical items: Prepare, produce, miraculous, calculating machine, calculations, lightning speed, storage device, data, memos. Teaching aids: Handouts, cassette, textbook, flipcharts. PROCEDURE I/ WARM-UP : ( 5 min ) * Game : Words - Puzzle 1 C L A S S 2 C O P Y 3 A L A R M 4 P U P I L 5 S T U D Y 6 T E A C H 7 E N G L I S H 8 R E S U L T 1. A place where you sit for studying. 2. T goes around the class and provide help if necessary. Statements 1.Computers are used in many fields in our daily life. 2. People can use computers to solve personal problems with sympathy. 3.Computers can be used to replace humans in the future. 4.
