Ask volunteers to chant in the front. praise the well done students. 5’ NEW LESSON Listen and repeat Have Ss open the book page 68 draw their attention to the letters colored differently in the words far and north Produce the sound /ɑ:/ and /ɔ:/. Have Ss repeat the focused sounds a few times. Play the recording twice and ask Ss to repeat Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary/ correct typical pronunciation errors. Call on someone to pronounce Have the whole class recite the chant to reinforce their pronunciation. Look at the words.
